About me.
I have worked at the heart of UK Trade Publishing for over 20 years, with a career spanning the complementary roles of Editor, Publicist, Commissioner and Consultant.
For the last couple of years I’ve held the position of Editorial Director in-house at both Bloomsbury and Picador, covering maternity leaves. Prior to Picador, for over 10 years, I’ve worked as a literary consultant, freelance editor and rights expert for several leading publishers and literary agencies, as well as authors direct.
My clients have included Picador, Picador Africa, Penguin, Sceptre, Bloomsbury, Open Road Integrated Media, PFD, Aitken Alexander, William Morris, The Susijn Agency, MMB Creative, The Shaw Agency and Charisma AI. I also work with writers from all over the English-speaking world.

My Story.
I’ve been a voracious reader since an early age and always dreamed of working in publishing. Collaborating with authors to help them realise their literary vision, is one of the most wonderful privileges and I feel blessed, after all these years, to continue spending my time doing the thing I’m passionate about. Editing is as much about people as it is about words, and I love both. I live in north-west London with my husband and kids, but have also lived in Granada, Spain, and speak (now a little rusty) Spanish. I still enjoy reading in my spare time, as well as throwing pots, and riding my bike.
